Why there is no universal list
Cities do not make people creative. Cheap rent, good company and unstructured time make people creative, and those are facts about a place rather than a chart.
What astrocartography can offer is a distinction between the kind of creative difficulty you are having: too few ideas, too many, or none of them finished.
The lines below are associated with different answers to that, and they run somewhere different for everyone.
The lines associated with creativity
Four lines carry most of what astrology associates with creativity. They are not interchangeable, and the one people ask for is rarely the one they are describing.
What these lines look like in real cities
A concrete version, since the abstract one only goes so far. These are not recommendations — your creativity lines run somewhere specific to your birth moment, and across everyone alive they fall roughly evenly across every longitude. There is no shortlist that applies to a whole population.
What is worth reading is the combination. The same line through an easy, inexpensive city and through a fast, expensive one describes two different years. If one of yours does fall near a place below, this is the kind of thing it may describe.
What actually decides the answer for you
- Which problem you actually have. Someone with too many ideas does not need a Neptune year.
- Where these lines fall for you, which is the part only your chart can answer.
- Whether you can afford to be there long enough for it to matter. Creative work is associated with time more reliably than with location.
