Neptune governs dissolution, imagination, longing and the boundary between self and everything else. Its lines mark where that principle was angular at your birth.

These places are astrologically associated with softened edges — inspiration, and unclarity, arriving through the same door.

People describe Neptune places as dreamlike, beautiful, and slightly unreal. Time behaves oddly. Photographs of the trip look better than the memory.

The other consistent report is difficulty seeing the place clearly. Neptune is associated with idealisation, including of the location itself.

Associated with art, music, film, poetry, spiritual and charitable work — anything whose subject is not literal.

Neptune lines can be wonderful to visit. A week of unreality is a holiday; it is a different proposition as a life.

Before relocating, get an outside opinion from someone who is not enchanted by the place. Neptune is the one line where your own assessment is astrologically the least reliable instrument available.
